Mr.Premkumar Elangovan has obtained his B.E., degree in 2004 in Electronics and Communications field with distinction and college rank of three. Securing an overall percentage of 86.9% and got placed at AIRCEL CELLULAR Ltd as switching engineer through campus placement and worked there for short period .Then with the assistance and guidance of Campus Abroad he got admission to do higher studies in U.K. He pursued his M.Sc., degree in Mobile and High Speed Telecommunication Networks at Oxford Brookes University, Oxford, U.K. He was awarded a merit scholarship for his excellent academic performance during his studies. He passed out his degree with distinction in September 2005 with placement of one among the toppers.

Whilst doing M.Sc., his proposal to pursue Ph.D., was appreciated and accepted by Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College (BCUC) for full grant of BCUC Research Studentship. University has granted a funding to a value of £ 46,800 for a period of three years starting from November 2005. He is now doing his Ph.D with Brunel University through BCUC.
